Welcoming Jerry Buhlmann as our new Non-Executive Chairman

Jerry Buhlmann joins Precise TV

This week, we are thrilled to announce that Jerry Buhlmann has joined Precise TV as our Non-Executive Chairman. With over 40 years of experience at the intersection of media, advertising, and technology, Jerry will play a crucial role in supporting our continued expansion—especially in the U.S. market and key industries such as entertainment, gaming, food & beverage, travel, finance, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.

As the former CEO of Aegis Group PLC and later Dentsu Aegis Network, Jerry has a proven track record of driving significant digital growth and innovation. Under his leadership, Dentsu Aegis Network doubled its revenues, demonstrating his ability to scale businesses and navigate the ever-evolving advertising landscape.

“I’ve watched Precise TV evolve from the leading COPPA-compliant YouTube advertising provider to one of the best performance video solutions in the market,” said Jerry. “What solidified my decision to accept this appointment was seeing the exceptional results Precise TV is delivering to brands across the biggest ad spending categories, offering them a truly differentiated solution.”

Jerry’s appointment comes at an exciting time for us. We recently secured a £21 million minority investment from LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, reinforcing the strength of the foundation we’ve built. As co-founders and co-CEOs, we have bootstrapped Precise TV from the ground up, focused on delivering measurable business outcomes for our clients—and this investment is a testament to our success.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jerry as our Non-Executive Chairman,” said Nadav Shmuel. “He shares our passion for bringing best-in-class contextual targeting and outcome-based measurement to the market. His leadership and experience will be instrumental as we continue to innovate and expand our offerings to meet the evolving needs of our advertising clients.”

This appointment also comes at a critical moment as YouTube cements its position as the most-watched streaming platform on TV screens, recently surpassing Netflix in U.S. viewing share (according to Nielsen via Variety). Advertisers are increasingly seeking more accountable, performance-driven solutions for connected TV and in-app gaming advertising—precisely where we excel.

“As YouTube becomes the number one streaming platform on TV screens, advertisers are demanding more accountable, performance-led solutions for the living room,” added Christian Dankl. “Having Jerry’s strategic guidance at this moment of massive audience shift is invaluable as we scale Precise TV to meet that demand and continue delivering measurable business outcomes for our clients.”

With Jerry’s expertise and a strong foundation in place, we are entering an exciting new chapter of innovation and global expansion. We look forward to continuing our mission of delivering the best contextual video advertising solutions for YouTube and beyond.
